Issue: “Call Voice Mail” or “Change Greetings” or “Set up Voice Mail” doesn’t work in Skype for Business client.
When user clicks on “Call Voice Mail” or “Change Greetings” or “Set up Voice Mail” in Skype for Business client, calls connects and disconnects, user doesn’t hear any voicemail announcement.
Environment:
- Skype for Business 2015 Server On-premises Deployment.
- Exchange 2013 with latest service pack.
User trying “Voice Mail Options” in Skype for Business client:
Skype for Business logging reflects:
ms-diagnostics-public: 15614;reason=”Call was gracefully disconnected.”
Exchange UM Event reflects the Language Pack Problem:
The configuration of dial plan “Szzzzz Australia” specifies “English (Australia)” as the default language, but this UM language pack has not been installed on this server. “English (United States)” will be used as the dial plan’s default language.
Resolution:
Update the correct language pack in UM Dial Plan to fix this problem.
Root Cause:
Language pack was missing on Exchange Server resulting announcements were failing.
